Why did we miss this one? It's on their web site from July 24, but doesn't seem to have hit the news wires, and I think it just was put on in the last couple days. Love seeing that the Army has decided that they need their services also.

Exigent today announced that subsidiary Software Technology, Inc. (STI) has teamed with Femme Comp, Inc. (FCI) of Sterling, Virginia to jointly support SETA (System Engineering Technical Assistance) tasks for the U.S. Army Space Command (USARSPACE).

This contract supports the SATOPS (SATCOM Analysis, Technical, Operational, and Programmatic Support) project, which provides a wide range of technical services for military satellite communication missions.

The team is extremely pleased to provide support for the SATOPS missions. Managers feel that the core competencies of the two companies, combined with those of the four other teammates (Raytheon Systems Co., SEMCOR, Analytical Services, Inc., and California Microwave, Inc.) will strongly complement one another, resulting in powerful and efficient services and solutions for the customer.

Mr. Rich Rima, FCI's Program Manager said, "The new FCI Team for SATOPS is a tremendous force in forging dynamic advances in satellite communications capabilities and technologies. This team has precisely the right combination of expertise and experience to help move the Department of Defense forward into a new century in space. STI is an invaluable member of the team, and is destined to play an extraordinary role in this venture."

For more than 18 years, Femme Comp, Inc. has provided satellite communication-related SETA services to various elements of the U.S. Department of Defense.

Mr. Jack Daily, STI Government Division General Manager, added, "As a member of the FCI team, we look forward to providing Satellite and Control Center expertise and products to USARSPACE. Our long experience with the Navy and Air Force space efforts can now be leveraged into the Army's programs."
