Off subject...Recently a friend asked me,"Didn't Steve Jobs and Bill Gates work together in the past?"

As I read it in the magazines, in the very early days Jobs saw the idea of the mouse and using objects as a great innovation. He wanted to do it for Apple but did not have the manpower to do the code. Microsoft did. They made a deal. Microsoft would do much of the code work for Apple and, in return, MSFT would be allowed to use some of the code for its OS. After jobs was booted out and windows came on strong, Apple was in trouble and decided to sue MSFT saying MSFT went beyond the agreement in its usage. The agreement was done in the very early days and based on fuzzy letters between Jobs and Gates. The judge, as expected, threw it out.

I agree with dog on Jobs. Apple and MSFT still do a lot of work together.
