Don, re. the "GOLDEN Opportunity (Rambus)" you suggested:
You have to admit that many of Asia's semiconductor companies are suffering these days and the region's economic crisis has led to a significant slowdown in global demand for integrated circuits.
Chip producers in Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, USA....all taking a hit now and if major economies continue to deteriorate, it is hard to imagine demand for electronics (esepecially consumer items like Nintendo, home PC's, etc.) taking a big turn for the better anytime in the next year with unemployment, inflation, poverty and DEBT problems escalating rapidly in so many parts of the world.
Gold may be doing poorly for now, but count me amongst those betting that as currencies and other sectors continue to crash, this situation will change one day due to sudden demand in the midst of reduced supply. |
