The gold standard, IMHO from studying the issue, had notta' to do with the depression. I just do not understand how people have bought the idea "This time it is different.." crap that the politicians and media spoon feed us. Talk to some old people who know finance. The world is crumbling before our eyes. Russia WILL have a fascist state. Japan is toast. Europe will die from bad Russia and Central European debts. The US dollar IS bankrupt. We have a murderer as a President. The weather is turning against us and will only get worse. Florida will be underwater. The poles are shifting-- which is now a pretty much accepted fact in plate tectonics. The aliens are here to mislead us. Israel is back. Mary is showing up all over the world. Some wacko from London is saying he is the Christ. So he is the antichrist-- says he will be on all T.V.'s when ALL the markets crashed-- he is picking out make-up now and a new turban-- and the UN funds his organization-- Share International.
