>why did you go long AMZN on Friday? I didn't. It's a running joke here- I announce that I've gone long and the stock instantly tanks 5 points. It's happened several times, and I can't explain it. I just did it as an experiment, and it has worked every time. I'm still completely short Amazon stock, as I have been since the beginning. It was a rough ride up to the 140's, and I had to cover several times for moderately substantial losses, but the recent drop to the 80's has put me in the black by over $460,000 dollars. (before taxes)
