Dear TLC, believe me it really hurts, but if Emile wants to really, really convert to Judaism, then he will have to undergo the said "surgical procedure". After all, Emile is seeking the truth, is he not, and as a direct descendent of Moses (well, every second generation that I could trace to about 1103, we get an injection of "non Jewish blood" in the line, a lot of "Ruths" in my ancestry, that is why like David the King, we have a lot of red hair in our family), I must tell him that only the word that was brought down by my ancestor from Mount Sinai is the truth, the rest has a lot of dubiety in it.
