Sam,
What you call "that ignorant book of the Caesars Roman Catholic scripture" actually denounces that institutions teachings to the extreme. The worship of Mary, confessionals, transubstantiation, praying to saints, even calling priests by the title "Father" is not condoned in the bible and we are warned against such things in it's contents. Why do you think that for centuries the R.C. institution did not want there people reading it? It exposes false teachings. I realize that my body is the temple of God after I have received Christ as my saviour, not before. Just as in water baptism, scripture teaches that people first believed then they were baptised, first I believed then I became the temple of the Holy Spirit. I can provide chapter and verse but you are clouded by hatred for the very thing that teaches you the way of salvation. Sam, I have yet to see you produce anything concrete to even slightly support your doctrine. I was poisoned once against "church" because of the hypocrisy of people and not seeing the practise of what was preached but instead saw traditions and rituals and such. As you were I believe. The bible, through one who knew it's message, showed me the simplicity that is in Christ and the need for salvation. Being saved or lost is everything. There is much that supports the bible including science and history and miracles. You said <<Pray tell me how God can lose anything>> You have been given the power of choice in your life have you not? We choose to do evil or to do good. The very act of sinning is conceived by the choice of the individual. We make choices every day of our short existence. We choose to accept or deny God's plan of salvation, we choose to accept or deny His word. As much as you hate it, accepting what the bible had to say was what led me to God. I believed by faith in Christs redeeming sacrifice and God's word as foundational. It was after this that God revealed Himself to me in my experiences with Him when I didn't need any proof of His existence. You are either knowingly or unwittingly professing the new age teachings that God is in everyone and that we can all become God. The term you used I believe was "the Christ that was in Jesus" is right out of their teachings. Please tell me if I am wrong. Sam, I would ask one thing of you. Please understand that I have no hatred toward you, I can hate sin in myself or another but I don't believe I should hate the individual. Where I use scripture at any time to refute what you are saying I firmly believe that it is God's word and I am trusting it to accomplish the purpose for which He sends it forth. He promises it will not return unto Him void. I do not intend to insult you even if we vehemently disagree.
