Michelle, you forgot the "btw, if Bush had an affair, it's none of my business, and nobody has any right to ask about Bush's personal sex life".
Also, re "it [stay at home whoevers] must be a boring way to live".
Give it up Michelle. You've obviously never raised kids. Neither have I, but when I observe the effort and the 16 hour working days put in by the mothers of my 29 nieces and nephews, I know they would laugh until they cried if they heard someone describe their duties, joys, and responsibilities of raising anywhere from 4 to 8 kids as "boring".
Ever had to get up every two hours to feed a newborn? Changed a diaper at 3:00am? Then got up at 6:00AM to make breakfast and pack a lunch for your husband? Not all husbands work near a deli, and even if they did, they wouldn't dream of walking into a deli while caked with dust from head to foot that comes swirling up off the bulldozer's tracks. Then its off to getting the kids up for school, settling the two-year old's tantrum, and telling the eight year-old to stop teasing his six-year old sister. Then it's off to the grocery store to buy supplies for the twelve year-old's birthday party that night, which will take place after the whole family eats the dinner prepared by this same "stay at home whoever" with the boring life.
Wake up honey. There's a whole other world out there. |
