Dear djane, Another amazing post. As I have said before, LU will acquire ASND before October 21, 1998. The price will be between .55-.60 stock swap. I believe the announcement will be made after the market shows some signs of stability (as soon as Sept 21-28). Personally, I believe the deal is already done, and LU-ASND are just waiting for favorable market conditions before they announce the deal. I am sure they fear what the market has done to the announced deals of late: Citicorp & Travelers, etc. Good Luck, Jamie
