There are many companies in Mongolia doing exploration, but we are the only western company with a developed operation.
Other companies include some private Canadian companies, a private US company, as well as BHP Minerals, Rio Tinto, Golden Tiger, International Pursuit, World Wide Minerals, and others. Other majors have been, looked, and are around the periphery, including Uranerz, Cameco, ABM, Teck, North and likely others.
The city of Ulaanbaatar has changed dramatically. Many restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Local beer includes Chingas Beer, and Khan Brau. Pretty good. I speak enough Mongolian to get around, but not too far. I learn more each time, but many Mongolians' have learned English. Russian, and German are widely spoken.
The countryside is a different story. But then, it is in parts of the US, Mexico, Canada, and other places.
