Neil.. almost but not quite..

You see.. and I'm not trying to be right when I might be wrong, but,
A PrOPOSITION that begins with "some" is said to be 'PARTICULAR.' OnE that begins with NONE is a Universal Negative. And, a Proposition beginning with "ALL" is said to be by me an AFFIRMATIVE in every class.

If I had said that Splits were COMPLETELY irrelevant, then my previous statement and the latter I made would be contradictory.

On the other hand, I do indeed often contradict myself. Or, at least, my words will seem to be at odds if you take things I've said at one time and then compare them to some propositions I make later in another context. The thoughts that possess me will often blend and then blur me to consternation as they give me a sense of ambiguity.

Sigh.. Thanx for looking out for my lack of consistency.
Never fear, it will show up. I consider the attempt to always APPEAR consistent a difficult pathos. Better to just say you're in error when you are.

Your friend,
Marty
