Hi Barbara, thanks for all yours and BellBoys info
and hope your grandmother is improving. Now if I may
I would like to add a little to your 1a: about IDB -
yesterday morning, I received a physical address for IDB from
Rodney McKenzie.(Thanks) If you would like it, it is:
International Data Broadcasting, Inc.
601 W. Robertson
Brandon, Florida 33511
I was able to go by IDB while in that area to do an observation.
I've read on some threads where a public company was actually
someone's apartment or garage. Well IDB, soon to be acquired
by FNTN looks to be a real business. Brandon, Florida is
located next to Tampa, Florida. State Road 60, which is
six lanes, runs through the center of Brandon. The traffic
count is very high on SR60. The street Robertson, runs parallel
with SR60 and is one block off to the south. The area IDB is
in is very active. They are in a tan brick, well maintained
and attractive commercial building. The front is half glass
and half brick. They were closed today so all I could do
was peek in. All I could see was the receptionists desk.
It was a moderate, nice formica type desk with a computer
on it. Next to this room was a small 10 X 10 conference type
room with a small table and chairs. Probably for sales or
general work. Both rooms looked pleasant, neat, clean and
business like. The full name and numbers of IDB were on
the glass next to the front door. There was a parking lot
in front of the building which would hold about 10 or 12
cars. There was a drive down the side of the building with
more parking lot in the back. A dumpster was blocking this
drive. They must not need the additional parking.
I don't think this type business needs a lot of parking as would
a retail store.
The building was approximately 35 feet wide and 60 feet deep.
Hope this helps a little,
Dan
