Thanks. The problem I have with Quicken is this: Let's say I buy 1,000 INTC but don't enter the commission. Later, I sell 1,000 INTC. When I enter the sell, Quicken asks me to apply the sale to a tax lot, which I do.

If I come back later and try to edit the buy information, it screws up the tax lot. (I can correct the sell side information without screwing up the lot).

EDIT: I take that back! I tried a sample trade and it seems to work, that is, it seems to let me change both the sell side and the buy side. Terrific. Thanks Bill, this could help a bunch.
