Gary,

If you can qualify for trader status with the IRS, your CPA can just list the total of all your buys and sells (taken directly from brokerage statements) and your tax return will be very easy to do. Not necessary to list each and every trade individually, just total 'em all up at end of year, total sells - less total buys, and pay tax on the difference (slightly over-simplified, of course) using appropriate tax schedule.
