Christine, I know when you make statements like this that you believe your position is even weaker than I thought. You have once again fallen into the liberal ideological trap which goes something like this....If i can't formulate a debate strategy based on scientific evidence, or sound reasoning, than I better go after the sources of information, and the person providing it. Second point you and Del seem to be repeatedly making is that the list of 18,000 scientists do not have advanced degrees. Obviously you have neglected to read the list. I'll repost it again.

Signers of this petition so far include approximately 2,300 physicists, geophysicists, climatologists, meteorologists, oceanographers, and environmental scientists who are especially well qualified to evaluate the effects of carbon dioxide on the Earth's atmosphere and climate.
Signers of this petition also include approximately 4,700 scientists whose fields of specialization in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, and other life sciences make them especially well qualified to evaluate the effects of carbon dioxide upon the Earth's plant and animal life.
Nearly all of the initial 16,400 scientist signers have technical training suitable for the evaluation of the relevant research data, and many are trained in related fields. In addition to these 16,400, approximately 2,400 individuals have signed the petition who are trained in fields other than science or whose field of specialization was not specified on their returned petition.
I have asked you repeatedly to provide me your list of scientist which support the Global Warming scare. Thus far you have been unable to. Obviously you do not even know who is on your list yourself! Yet your willing to take a religios (Greepeace) leap of faith that they are credible. The only person you or Del were able to provide is the same person who wrote a book 15 years ago claiming Global Freezing was about to doom us all! I guess you never heard the old saying, "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me huh?. :-)
I also noticed that you spent a great deal of time attempting to change the subject into recylcing, or something else. I don't blame you for wanting to change the subject with the lack of real information you were able to locate regarding Global Warming. :-)
