Suffice it to say when Alan Greenspan now starts talking about Deflation, he's setting a psychological mindset that the economy is not as strong as it seems... When he says that "the U.S. is not an Oasis", he's saying that we are not immune to economic problems around the world... While some are receiving these latest comments with joy that another rally may ensue, we'd better look behind the meaning of those words... jim [ & ovetus]. unless one is adverse to taking the cues, it would appear only one conclusion may be drawn from these less than cryptic signposts. i agree with your conclusions, and any intervening rally may be akin to an overwhelming sentiment of denial which may be fueled [in greater or lesser part] by those whose strategy will accept such an event as inevitable before they respond in true measure to the larger implications of the above. flick
