Frank A little testie today and I can understand why.I do see some of the bad mixed with much of what yet may not even be good,such as sub-cent pricing.I probably would rather believe that the prices will have to stay above a figure just for the sake of the Equiptment manufactures.It would be something to see 2 minuites for a cent cost in IP tele.That does not seem possible though.

I really doubt that Any regulatory body would enjoin any next gen or orther lec or clec from transporting and ollloading to bell south.I really do,I may be very wrong but i just don't see it in this FCC and administration.In fact I see a definate rise in the markets ability to leap jump ahead if and when this gets ruled on.If the Bells and Big Guys have to start buying and deploying EQ in a hurry and or scaled deployment then the race will be on.I just don't see a very fast paced deployment period by the bells ,I just don't think they want to give up the copper and the switch.

They have been wanting to move to the ATM and other media now they have to contend with a slower and less regulated problem,DATA.I believe till we see some very massive new regulation we won't see much change,This will cause the Bells to have to jump if they want to.Meanwhile DT and the ATTs may well be already in the coup de Gras so to speak.But who knows at this point FrankThe combinning of the old and the new will not produce new but will give way to improved.I liked the Excel article because it shows that some will work in and around the aspects and try to provide good service even if its a little canny
To people who want service in a good price.I figure the quality will always get better as we get faster and faster.VOCLF must have something good going as does The tempest or it would not be where it is.HAve a good Night
