Short fuel for the long run Rolf, thanks for your kind comments. I have a couple of questions for you. 1. Are German investors subject to wash sale rules in a similar fashion to those in the states? Who knows how many long positions were stopped out or closed on August 4 in the 11 million share day. The incessant drone of the shorts' refrain has provided the opportunity to buy in, without negative tax consequences, below the price they were sold a month ago. 2. How far are you from the IAA in Hanover? Any chance of your providing this thread with a first-hand report? I expect a most interesting week. Would not be surprised to see one last "attack" before the AGM. But I think we saw the bottom last week. Of course, I argued that the gap in April didn't need to be filled :) It seems to be that the serve is now on TRBD's side. TRBD is serving for what I hope is a 4 point love game: 1. OEM announcement, 2. dramatic repudiation of Asensio, 3. further JV or sales announcements, & 4. a positive annual meeting. The game is the company's to win. May the wind be at your back. MikeC
