today i m finding a great cmputer desk top for $399 180 mhz. , 1.6 gig disk, 42 mem? 20x CD ! w. monit 499. i think these kinds of machines are good enuf for avrg family whose income is 35k and will be the biggest first time buyers. <geez, machine is good enuf for me too. i can surf and run execel > and i do not see where computer makers can continue to make profits w. such a narrow margins. where can u make profit if u have load up a machine w. win98 included for 399. just think how much CPU costs. razor thin margins. i think u could have a good arugument. only thing i noticed was that intel was up for the week and was doing well on friday. In such a turmoil, intel could have traded much lower but did not so i assume good earning and good conf call maybe in place ! or i just love dogs so much in my portfolio. wooof woof.
