Jim, thanks for the feedback. I don't buy into the book value arguement for a high growth stock like DELL. In fact, I believe that many analysts and portfolio managers who think this way about DELL have so much on their plates that they fall into the "conventional wisdom" trap. It's the path of least resistance, it requires much less analysis, and no one can fault their thinking. Except, of course their clients, who ultimately lose out. By the way, this conventional wisdom thinking leads them to selecting a PC company by default - and, that's usually Compaq. And, that's where their clients lose out again.
