The system does cover stops and gives cover signals. And yes, sometimes companies do get bought out in which case you may lose a little. This has not happened even in my paper treades yet. Believe it or not though, the shorting system only shorts the hgihest of the high flyers so buyouts are rare except after they have fallen. If I only had the profits from my paper trading, my returns would be much greater than 1000 percent annually. And if I was to use options, it would be even more. Currently, I have puts on lhsg and pixr. Both high fliers and overvalued, but it seems valuation has little to do with the market sometimes. some recent signals: cof, anf, lcos, xcit, uis, abtx, file, bldpf, and many others. As you can tell many signals have been given recently, but most of them before the market turned. Tklc is one I covered already and I shorted twice at >24. sctr another: I shrted at 40 and covered and shorted at 33 again, covered at 28 and wish I had held as it is lower now. I am not sorry, since if you get too greedy, you end up losing.

I hope this helps and answers your questions.
