If we're going to say "They are the rakes..." we gotta say "Grammatical accuracies are important". Consistent tenses, and all that stuff.

I've long thought that we have a largely alliterate society, as opposed to illiterate: a place where most people can read, but don't. Some might say that this means we're moving beyond the written word, others might say it's a sign of systemic degeneration. All I know for sure is that demand for writers seems to sink daily. I should have learned to write software code.
