SOROS, here's something that might interest you. Just read this in the September issue of PC Computing Magazine, page 14 (sorry, it's not on the net site yet).

Ready, Set... Just like April 15 and your anniversary, the year 2000 is lurking right around the corner. At organizations across the country, IT managers are finally beginning to work like it's 1999. Nearly half have already begun implementing Y2K projects to make sure they'll be crashproof come the new millennium. But a quarter of them still aren't taking the issue very seriously. And who's the best prepared? The U.S. government, where 83 percent of sites have a Y2K project either planned or completed.

Yes, that's right, PC Computing thinks the US government is the best prepared for Y2K. Sorry, I was going to try to end with something witty here, but I'm at my wit's end.
