MB. The Tokyo traders are bidding up the Japanese markets. The players in that market seem to think the Japanese government will inject public money as equity into the banks rather than shutting them down and liquidating them. And worse yet, I think some of these traders think they will use the money to buy back shares????

From Reuters:
"Some said Friday's remark by U.S. Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin that Japan must use public funds to help banks raised hopes for a swift decision by Japan on a fund injection for the banks, helping buying-backs in bank shares."

Hopefully, we will get a big rally Tuesday & Wednesday in our markets. I am looking forward to buying numerous puts.
