Steven, can you tell me some more about the following?

<<Early detection and remedy can slow down or even reverse the progress of CAD.>>

I underwent the scan last year and received an unacceptable score. I was referred to a cardiologist who gave me a stress test, and cardio echogram. I past both with flying colors. I was place on a statin drug and my cholesterol, was reduced to 154 from 175, my LDL to 86 from 114, and HDL increased from 46 to 56. I plan on taking another scan in about 6 months to see how things have changed, assuming there are changes.

I would appreciate in learning more about the reversal of CAD. My doctor doesn't want to discuss this possibility in any detail. All she would say is that some patients see a reversal, while other don't. I think I'm under good care as I go to UCLA medical, located in Los Angeles, CA.

Appreciate your response.
