Now I'm starting to get the picture and am starting to understand just why Diamond weren't pitching their TNT as 'the gaming card' and doing so with the Banshee instead. The simple fact is that the Banshee will be cheaper by $50 and have roughly the same Quake 2 performance. Add to that fact that you get Glide based games with the Voodoo Banshee and I think you'll agree that for gamers- the Banshee makes more sense (NVidia doesn't have its own API and only supports OpenGL and Direct 3D via DX5 ad DX6). And then again- if you're a REAL Quake2 freak, you'll stick to, or indeed opt for a Voodoo2 SLI setup, or just wait for the next Voodoo Banshee (hurry up will you already?).
