Just for clarification... when I say newsgroups, I refer to USENET... my understanding is that @home supported about 5000 newsgroups. My ISP supports something like 37000. In this case, the more the merrier since I'm not paying extra for access to my ISP's news server (news servers pretty much are part of the standard package with ISPs, just a matter of how many newsgroups they subscribe and how long they keep articles on their server). I especially like to have the option of subscribing to various computer newsgroups, but if @home doesn't carry those newsgroups, I don't want to have to jump thru hoops to get various newsgroups added. Just an opinion... if you don't use USENET, you don't have to worry about it.
