Ms. Shell,
I have been thumbing through some reading that may interest you, It has to do with Drs. Lorrichio's and Pettit's research on Phyllanthatin and Leukemia.
It appears that the Drs. were able to isolate Phyllanthatin from the roots of Phyllantbus Acuminatus N.. It ( Phyllanthatin ) was found to inhibit growth of Murinep-338 Lymphocytic Leukemia cell line.
It seems that Dr. Pettit is indebted to Dr. Lorrichio for his work in this area. Have you any idea how that was expressed?
( #reply-5617622 )

Let's review where we're at with this one based on #reply-5676313 and #reply-5684721 :

1. I have located an article by G.R. Pettit and other authors which matches the description you provided in #reply-5617622 and AZNT's description in
amazon-treasures.com except for some spelling/parsing errors in your reply and AZNT's web page.

2. The article located by me is in the same journal and same issue as the article cited on the AZNT web page.

3. Dr. Loricchio is not an author and is not mentioned anywhere in the article.

4. The plant in question was obtained in Costa Rica not Brazil.

5. I can find no articles by AZNT's Dr. Loricchio in the entire Medline database from 1966 - 1998 (let alone any in which he was a co-author with Dr. Pettit).

6. The misspelled/misparsed words from your reply and/or the AZNT web page appear in neither the abstracts or titles of any articles included in the Medline database.

7. There is only one other article in Medline that includes 'Phyllanthostatin' in either the abstract or the title. It does not mention the murine lymphocytic leukemia cell line P-388.

8. Given that the article located by me was on Medline, the 1990 Journal of Natural Products issues are to be found on Medline. In other words, a second article by G.R. Pettit in the Nov-Dec 1990 issue on 'Phyllanthostatin' would have also shown up in the search.

I believe that reasonable, objective observers will have concluded that your claim (that I haven't found the right article) is incorrect. However, since you apparently continue to claim to have read the results from an article reporting joint research by Drs. Loricchio and Pettit, why not answer the following two questions posted earlier:

What part of "Drs. Lorrichio's and Pettit's research" was Dr. Loricchio's?

Was AZNT either directly or indirectly the source of the information in your #reply-5617622?
