Hi Baker - I was scanning the largest mutual fund purchases for
the last two months and Mylex made the list! Here is what I found:
The Crabbe Huson Group, Inc. increased their position in Mylex to
3,418,300 shares as reported in their 13G filed 7/31/98. This stake
represents 16.9% ownership. They added 188,900 shares to their
previous holdings an increase of 5.5%.
Other large Institutional holders include:
Becker Capital Management Inc 8.8% owned
Dimensional Fund Advisors, Inc. 2.4% owned
Since their reported purchase, MYLX has hit new multi-year lows.
