I think you and Bill V. are both very optimistic. You have to remember Bubba thinks he is the victim. According to Bubba, this investigation is an unwarranted invasion into his private life and part of a partisan political process. He'll go down with the ship. He'll never resign before Articles of Impeachment get voted. The Republicans have no need to hurry the process. I predict nothing will happen before the elections. The impeachment inquiry will begin with the new Republican Congress next term which will carry many new seats in the House and a possible filibuster proof Senate. A thorough investigation will be made in the inquiry, then Articles of Impeachment will be voted. I predict a February or March, 1999 resignation. JLA
