Jerry,

The fact of the matter is that for the vast majority of companies earnings will be non- existent for the next few Q's...Regional banks..ie..BK is my fave might be OK...Also IT companies like KEA and SYNT CHRZ will show strong earnings and revenue growth. Believe me Y2K is just like the S&L crisis in it's ever growing cost...There's big time denial out there and the foot dragging will lead to heads rolling...Clinton IMHO is a non event...AG and Rubin are the big players here...The bloody IMF is broke!! My call...recession in 99 lasting into 2000...Fed funds rate heading toward 4-4.5%...One would think that would create a refi bonanza but as unemployment rate expands the ability to refi will be limited...I'll have to hunker down here on my ranch and live off the fat of the land:)
