Emile, why are you not following David Koresh's commands? As far as I know, he spoke with God and he was the one telling him to do whatever he was doing. If you stubbornly refuse to see the light of true monotheism, the abstraction of deity, why don't you join the party behind the good old comet. I see Jesus in no different light than Eliahou, Jermiahou or Yshaayahou, an early utopist (meaning whether you like it or not a communist). Is there one citation in the new testament from Jesus himself claiming to be the descendant of God?
By the way, if you are truly looking for the son of god, go and read the first Chapter of Jermiah, it says, "before I formed you in the belly of your mother I knew you". It uses the verb Yadoa, which in all other places in the old testament is used to delineate to "know a women" or to have intercourse with her (for the purpose of procreation). Have you ever asked yourself in the face of such exact description in the scriptures, how come Jermiah was not elevated to a position of the "son of god"? I'll tell you the difference, marketing, the apostles were better marketeers, quite simple. Just because they were better marketeers, it does not mean that an emlightened person should follow them, thus, those who do, are by default, unenlightened.
There have been literally hundred of people claiming to be the only one with the true"word from God" why have you chosen Jesus? And furthermore, why in your unenlightment you think that you have the right to follow such an imoral dictum of converting other to something you yourself do not understand. Answer to me very simply, is god "all mighty?".
How much of the talmud have you read (and in what language) that you know it to be "the spiritual auschwitz" from which you will attempt to liberate me.
As to your question: "Are all these holy Christian men and women "unenlightened" ", the answer is unequivocal, they are unenlightened a robers of people spiritual freedom. They may be holy to you, and I will defend your right to hold to this mistaken "truth", but they are not holy to me, some of them like Torquemada are nothing but low life butchers and murderers.
You see my friends, I f i were to chose to believe in God, I have no doubts it would be the God of Abraham, not Jesus. The former, at the last moment avoided Isaac sacrifice, but the God of Jesus is cruel, he needed his pound of flesh and sacrificed Jesus. It is that God who is responsible, not some Romans , or Jews, or even Yehuda Ish Krayot. My choice would be quite easy, a life saver vs a murderer.
Once, I tried to read some of these books from the new testament, the Hebrew version, and I had to put them down, the quality of the language was so poor relative to what I was accustomed to in the old testament, they could not hold my interest. So, I have no personal knowledge of what is written in those books, and I would probably prefer spending my time on Servantes or Shakespeare.
Mind you having had my own "Din Torah" with the almighty quite early in my uneducated life, my knowledge of the Talmud is limited to "Baba Metsiah" only, where Jesus was not even mentioned. I wonder what tractate if any in the Talmud discuss Jesus at all, could you point me to them? In Kidushin, there is a long discussion of immaculate conception and all the possible means by which this has and can happen (one that comes to mind is a virgin taking a bath after a man in the same luke warm water), none of which required the intervention of the old mighty.
