To my understanding, if the DOW corrects 20%...we are in a BEAR market. You're right when you say an economic slowdown and Bear Market usually coincides; however, this does not need to be always the case. In this case, there is a global economic slowdown that has not yet reached, if ever, the US.

Jim Kelley seems to implying that other criteria are needed (besides to 20%) are needed to make a "Bear market". I want to know what they are...if they exist.
