Key thing, when the stock gaps up a lot, you don't buy at the open, you wait for selling (profit-taking) to occur causing a small pullback, then you buy for the next run-up which is more predictable and safe.

Thanks for the advice. It is difficult to avoid chasing that gap up, but I think the discipline to do so ultimately pays off.

By the way, is there a name for Ken Wolff's mIRC chatroom? I've looked at #The_Final_Frontier occasionally, but would like another location to check.
