It was a political statement meant to calm and stabilize world markets... It seems to have worked...> I agree Jim and well said, BUT that is not justification to lower our short term rates. Our economy simply does not need a rate cut. BTW Did you happen to notice that Intel's earnings forecasts were revised upward ? Sergio
