Hugh,
Kind of depends when you bought it. Don't worry, I won't ask. <G>

P.S. I wouldn't sell it yet.
What's your take on the dollar/yen drop recently and the XAU jumping up? Is this for real or just hedge funds unwinding long dollar positions? My thesis is that gold stocks will be the leading indicator in indicating Asia has bottomed. Major jumps in Asia overnight are supporting this. If the XAU can hold recent lows despite another attack on the yen (coming between now and the end of October, it could be very significant, IMHO.
Also expecting an explosive rally in the DOW in short order based on the dollar weakness of late...but it likely won't hold...
Other rumors I've heard include, ABX terminating it's forward selling hedge program. If so, that's worth a big jump in gold.
Jim
