The vote is placed. I received my proxy material over the Labor Day weekend. I read the vast majority of the material. While I believe both companies are doing a good job growing their business, I still see no compelling reason for the merger. I voted against the merger with my small 3000 share position. I do not see the synergies allued to in the proxy. I see a small amount of overhead costs being reduced, but I see no synergies related to selling a broader product line by both companies. I do not agree with the assumptions made in the proxy. I may be wrong but I voted with my feet. However, I do expect the merger to pass. To bad, since I would expect ISLI to go to 25 within the next year purely on fundamentals.
