Discussing religion with people of differing beliefs is the ultimate exercise in futility. No one is going to change their mind, as they are all equally sure that theirs is the correct one. Unfortunately, that is one of the legacies religion has given us, namely, a separating of all people. Not to mention the fear engendered in the hearts of so many, and the ultimate acts of barbarism committed supposedly in God's name. How shameful.
