Hi John, I was hearing today that the City of Austin, TX will be spending 12 million on the Y2K problem. It was mentioned that not only computers, but imbedded systems such as elevators etc had the problem. They said they were replacing all the defibulators in the emergency response vehicles.

Thought this information might be of interest to the thread.
