I hope this will suffice. You told me that according to your perception, Torah was the center and essential teachings of modern Judaism. You spoke of the Talmud as simply a hedge around to Torah to protect Torah from contamination. I have many quotes from some of the chief Rabbis around the world that contend that the Babylonian Talmud is more important than the Torah.
Also, why only the Torah and not the whole Old Testament. Why does modern Judaism separate the Torah from the rest of the Old Testament as if to say the rest is no good or not from God?
