Tulvio - we are gonna see sweet revenge - a massive short squeeze ! I've read a few posts & articles where more than one commentator said there could be a couple of hedge funds put out of business tomorrow on margin calls. Fleckenstein and at least 4-5 other major trader/analyst/Managers said shorting commodities is THE single worst move currently - other than having been long the Ruble a week or so ago... Talk about sweeeeeet revenge. It would be interesting to speculate just how much upside exists $-wise on short covering alone ! I think the majority of our gain last week and fridays in particular was from short covering. Can you imagine anyone who shorted VRC lately - with a bounce tomorrow we could be looking at a 30-40% pop over the last 10 days - add a little margin and not too shabby...How about shorting FGII or RIG lately... Can anyone believe how much positive press the Oil Drillers & Service stocks got on CNBC today ! - Sector Rotation will be big; I think I heard Transocean Offshore mentioned 126 times today ! A new ''bottom'' indicator has been firmly established here - how many nutball shorts that come out of the woodwork to attack...sourgrapes what a sweet fruit ! And yet; we have the ''Mensa'' boys talking about DOW 4000 or even 1000 and burying gold coins....sad; missed the train bigtime...going to cash is fine; but shorting now-right here; brings back the old saying; ''Pigs get fat, but Hogs get slaughtered'' ... I think a whole lotta short-hogs are gonna get slaughtered ! PORK CHOPS ANYONE ???
