Steve, you're preaching to the converted. <g> I own 4 IBM drives already, all acquired in the last 6 months. If I had only 5 seconds to choose a disk I'd choose an IBM. --- Anybody heard anything about these new Promise Tech "FastTrak" boards which let you RAID stripe across UATA IDE disks? As the HDD subsystem becomes more and more of a bottleneck in desktops as CPU and graphics performance continue to scale up, solutions like these may become commonplace ...
