Thanks for the clear explanation.... I have no doubt you/Funk are correct. Dreyfus doesn't have soes trading and I haven't used it with any other brokerages. I would imagine my bids are being filled on the downtick even thought the bid doesn't change. I am constantly getting my bids filled right before a move up. I can't complain....I really think RT charting is more important for making a profit and pulling the trigger at the right time. However, I agree w/ your point about instant execution....I place my orders at ask when I need to be filled. I guess the instant execution is what your really talking about as a SOES Bandit. It's a totally different game....I am basically a position/swing trader.
