Chirodoc, It is a good news that situation in Japan is severe, which will push the government to be serious about reform of the banking system. This current financial crisis ( mainly the banking system) is a political one, the question is whether they can put their house in order, but whether the government, different political parties would like to cooperate with each others to put their house in order. If they would, this will start the next bull market in the Japanese stock market. Plus, if the US cut rate in Sep or Oct, and Europe remain strong, all these together will put the whole world in order. The Russia problem is a political one , and result of mismanagement. It is of no big deal.
