Gold has responded well in times of past deflation - in fact it was likely the best thing to own. Someone like yourself, so versed in gold as an investment, would surely know that ... or should.


Hate to be a party pooper, but didn't gold run up because the Roosevelt Admin. revalued by fiat as an attempt to boost commodity prices? Today, that would probably not happen as gold is delinked from the currency.

You might find this interesting...I did, although he might be very wrong in this paper, it is a relief to hear something different about gold prices. I think that a successful investor seeks out all sorts of ideas and keeps an open mind.
