Dear G,
I have to say that you are full of it! Cannacord mentioned Roper in their Morning Coffee notes as they have been aware of Roper for a long time. They picked it up this time because their volume trackers picked up the good volume in Roper. "Water Rescue Equipment" was their take on the last release relating to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard contract that Safe Environment has recently won. The reason that Roper has performed contrary to the market trend is that people are beginning to acknowledge that Roper has found a great position in what is a huge market. In my opinion the market ran away with itself in July when Roper moved to the forties and higher but it seems to have build itself a strong base now from where I think we should see some movement. Roper has successfully moved away from natural resources into a Government legislated market. I still have not seen your post following your calls to the company themselves. I hope you have done your DD and spoken with them as I previously suggested but until you comment specifically or tell us what you learned I do not know what your concerns, if any are. Please be specific if you can as for you to say that there is "something Fishy" just does not cut the mustard with me. Are you still playing the shorting game or do you have genuine fears. This is the perfect medium to voice your concerns so please do so.
Regards
DR
