To All: What with work currently being extremely volatile, requiring lots of travel, I haven't had the opportunity to check in until now, and won't have much time for the next several weeks either. All-n-all, though, I have to side with Prasanna(sorry if miss-spelled), this ain't BurgerKing folks. As for D.A., well, CFO's come, CFO's go, and I don't have enough information on the nature of the personal dynamics between L.D. and D.A. to determine how this resignation impacts VLNC. I will say that based on the 10K, D.A. owns outright ~100K shares, with 1998 options granted(vesting over 4 years) of ~40K shares which I expect he'll forfeit upon leaving. So it WILL be interesting to see what he does with those shares.
Meanwhile, the underground(defined here as ANY information which cannot be independently corroborated) is once again rife with rumors and speculation regarding the status of those lines. Indeed, some think insiders are so happy they're buying. However, given the fact that this same underground got blind-sided, ONCE AGAIN, with the D.A. announcement, I have to discount what I hear. This coupled to the fact that there's zero insider buying going on as of today's date, a rather interesting anomaly in the face of that line rumor, just increases my "gut" interpretation of said information as being....eh....just a TAD soft. Don't get me wrong, I'm still long VLNC in a big way, it's just that we ain't about to have this thing go "our way," ie. right here, RIGHT NOW!!! ;-) Here's hoping they don't fail to meet their milestones. Bottom Line? With VLNC in the hands of ~800 folks, let's see how they react to Fridays news.
Regards!
