The comctl32.dll that works for me is 303KB with a date of 5-1-97. The one that I blew away had a date of 5-8-98 if I remember correctly. I guess I should have saved it for later reference.... That was the only thing I changed... didn't use any repair files.

Booting to a 2nd NT partition was the only way I could get in and find the problem. I didn't check all the QP programs out but the charting program fired (w/CCI indicator), meta-out fired, scanner fired, but the net download program needed the newer dll and caused an error.

Currently went back to the 7-25-98 update until Gary releases next update. When that comes out I volunteer to be the lab rat for all you NT users <ggg>.
