PDCI News out.
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1998--Tuesday morning, PDC Innovative Industries Inc. (BB:PDCI) CEO David Sowers released the details of recent purchases made for machinery that is considered the world's fastest CNC Machinery Center (a Mazak product). "This will permit more than 2,500 levels to be produced each week," Sowers stated, adding that, "These levels, capable of telescoping for size and using a bulb dial for accuracy in the more expensive models will revolutionize construction level product markets everywhere," also repeating an earlier announcement that the company has verbally accepted major orders for the levels from national distributors. The company also purchased a Mazak constructed CNC Lathe, "The finest we could find," according to Fernando Bugallo, company chief engineer. The lathe will cut the dial and ridges for the dialed levels, the company's most sophisticated level produced in Coral Springs, Fla. CEO Sowers further stated that the company paid more than $250,000 for the new equipment, adding that the dramatic interest in PDCI by shareholders recently, when hundreds of thousands of shares changed hands, created a mandate to go forward with only quality technology for the great products still ahead, including the production of the Sterile-2000, which has received major interest for its ability to reduce contamination in the medical field for handlers of dangerous after treatment medical residue. --30--lhs/mi* CONTACT: PDC Innovative Industries Inc., Coral Springs Michael Hiler, 954/341-0092 Fax 954/341-5361 |
