I agree with the precedent post.

Impeachment is the Constitutional remedy, not an ordeal. It is a way of cleansing the body politic of the disease of Clinton corruption. If he resigned now it might allow him and his minions of dissemblers to blame others for his disgrace.

It will be a salutary experience, especially since it will educate the boosboisie that still voices tentative support for Clinton about his global corruption including serial perjury,
obstruction of justice and abuse of office at a minimum. Maybe there will even be a look at his sale of foreign policy and missile technology to the totalitarian Chinese for campaign cash and his myriad other affronts to the US public, his office and the Constitution.
